SUBJECT: CSPCA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN DECATOR, IL.

DATE: Nov. 03, 2007 @ 7:30 p.m.

Meeting called to order by President Karen Kleinhans at 7:30 p.m.

Attendance: See attached sheet.

Approval of Guidance of Conferance Rules made by Linda Jokela and seconded by Nancy Camera. All in attendance approved. No Opposition.

Approval of last minutes approved by Deena Harvey and seconded by Gail Tighe.

All in attendance approved. No opposition.

Approval of minutes to be sent to East Coast (Marilyn Braunstein), Central

Region (Nancy Camera), Western Region (Gail Tighe).

Treasuer's report handed out at meeting.

While most reports will be in the Barker, some reports were given and

comments were made including: Breeders should notify Gail Garrison when they have

puppies available so she will add them to her list for Breeder Referral.

Futurity/Maturity: Jocelyn Barker reported all is working well.

Dr. Jeff Vidt reported about Canine Research, Stem Cell, CHIC Program, DNA

repository for dogs, sharing samples for research and cancer support for

charitable trust.

Deanna Harvey (Public Education)reported that new member packets are nearing

completion.

Old Business: Marilyn Vinson reported about ongoing discussions with AKC to

get a place on the registration forms for coat types. AKC does not consider

this a priority.

New Business: Marilyn Vinson reported about not yet named committee that will

be recording things like first, most, last and any type of record for the

breed.

Ramps: Discussion held about the possibility of making our breed a ramp

breed" which would allow judges to use the ramp without it being a medical

emergency. Ramp size 15-24 inches and there was one set up in the ballroom so that the

members could practice the usage and develop their opinions on the idea. (Use

of a ramp would NOT be mandatory).

Marilyn Vinson also requested that any By-Laws suggestions be sent to her.
